Hi, I am Mathilde Rietsch, aka Frihead, a play on the words "free head", and "frihed" which means freedom in Danish.

I am an outdoor photographer based in Switzerland. Through my work, I want to inspire people and especially women, to go on adventures, connect with nature and experience the great outdoor in a sustainable and authentic way. I am always eager to work with brands who share my values and my love for the outdoors and nature.

My passion for landscape photography was born when I did my first road trip in Switzerland, back in 2017. Spending those 3 days in the mountains, driving from one breathtaking place to another, being able to admire beautiful sunrises and sunsets and discovering my own country definitely motivated me to start landscape photography. I like being able to capture the beauty of a place, and trying to convey the emotion I felt while contemplating it.
